Nominations Needed for Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame

Over the course of American history, hundreds of thousands of men and women have served their country with honor and pride during times of war and peace. The Indiana Military Veterans Hall of Fame, Inc. (IMVHOF) recognizes Hoosier veterans for their accomplishments and shares their stories of sacrifice with the people of Indiana.

IMVHOF is in its inaugural year and looks forward to inducting its first class of Hoosier heroes at their 2014 Annual Banquet held on or about Veteran’s Day. Inductees will receive the prestigious Hall of Fame Medallion of Honor.

2014 Induction Banquet

IMVHOF will induct its first class of Hoosier heroes on or about Veteran’s Day, 2014. Each inductee will receive the Hall of Fame Medallion in recognition for their military service.

Up to fifteen Indiana military veterans may be inducted each year.

  • Of the fifteen, up to ten may be selected exclusively for their valorous military service.
  • Of the fifteen, up to five may be selected for their combined military/civilian service.

About the Medallion

The medallion represents the IMVHOF and its relationship to the State of Indiana.
The front depicts the State of Indiana and the name of the organization.
The back depicts the Indiana state flag on which the inductee’s name is engraved encircled by the names of the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.
